Where LeatherXpert were stuck
LeatherXpert had been restoring leather furniture across the North East for over 30 years. The craftsmanship was there. The reputation was there. How we built the pipeline
We rebuilt the website to look like the work: premium, considered, craftsman-feel. The kind of site that makes it obvious LeatherXpert understands leather before a visitor reads a single word.
Underneath the look, we built dedicated service pages for each discipline: leather cleaning, recolouring, restoration, and commercial work. Each one going deep on the specific process, what's involved, and the technical detail that signals expertise. They started ranking on Google for the searches LeatherXpert's customers were actually typing, and became the landing pages behind a small Google Ads campaign.
We kept ad spend under £500 a month and pointed it directly at those service pages. Someone searching for leather recolouring landed on the recolouring page, not a generic homepage. That's what made the ads efficient enough to run on a tight budget.
What changed
LeatherXpert now generates 10 to 15 new leads a week from the website and ads combined. Under £500 a month in ad spend turns into around £5,000 a month in extra revenue: a 10:1 return on ad spend, before the organic search traffic the new site is picking up on its own.
What customers describe is just as telling as the numbers. They consistently tell the team they chose LeatherXpert because the website made them feel the team understood leather. With a tricky material people are nervous to hand over, the site closed the trust gap before a single conversation.
